Spacious River Front House

We enjoyed our stay near Squaw at the Kudrna River House this last summer. Our entire family was able to partake in some great Bbqs and River rafting adventures.

Great for a large group

Spending the weekend at the River house was a blast and very relaxing. This was a great experience for a group that is active and enjoys outdoor activities. The Squaw Valley bike trail and Truckee River bike trail were both easily accessible and well maintained. We had a great time floating down the river from 4 miles toward the lake all the way down right to the back door. Our weekend was perfect and staying in such a wonderful house in such a wonderful setting made it that much better. Lots of space within. Plenty of bathrooms. A great deck out back. And, of course, the river that you can literally jump into right in the back yard.

I highly recommend staying at the Kudrna River house. The house was very clean, charming and conveniently located to Squaw and Alpine . The layout of the house worked out great, as there was room for the younger kids, teens and moms. I was also pleased with the concierge service at Pullen. They were extremely helpful and kind on the phone. The view from the house was gorgeous!

The Kudrna cabin was a pleasant surprise. The cabin sits on the Truckee River and is extraordinarily convenient for skiers...especially those that ski Squaw (who doesn't?). The very large mudroom, with the many cubies, was great for storing everyone's gear. The kitchen was amply supplied, beds cozy and the welcome basket was so sweet. We'd go back in a heart beat! Thanks!

Perfect place for a big family

Our stay at the Kudrna House during the week of Christmas/New Years was excellent. We were especially pleased by the concierge service who were very accommodating. Also the location to Squaw could not be any better. I would definitely stay here again! Thanks again!!!

Our Dream Home!

It was perfect! Our whole family met at the house for a reunion and it was a perfect spot for such an occasion. The house was beautiful, spacious and everyone could find their own space when needed. The environment and surroundings were surreal in their beauty, absolutely dreamy. And the energy from the river helped to push any tension downstream so we felt a constant renewal of good times. Service was impeccable, staff was at the ready to help answer questions. We'll be back many times, we hope!

Riverfront Beauty, Great for Kids!

We had a family reunion / vacation in the house. My brother's family (three kids ages 3, 5, and 8), my family (three kids ages 1, 3, and 5), and my parents. Everything was amazing! Couple thoughts about the kids' setup: There were no child gates for the stairway. If you have little ones who can't navigate stairways, bring your own gate. The river was pretty fast-moving. My two littler ones couldn't handle it by themselves. My older one wore a life-vest while playing in the river, just in case. Although the deck was a great spot for hanging out, there was no "beach" area to be close to the kidlets while they were in the river. Basically that means that there was always an adult in the river with the kids when they were playing in it. Everything else was 5 stars for us!
