We stayed for three nights during the early Spring when there was still snow
on the ground. The home is uphill from the street on a corner. We were
worried that being on an intersection might make the home noisy, but it
turned out that traffic was not a problem at all. The steep driveway was a
trial until it warmed up and the ice melted. We had to clear the entry stairs
and decks of a foot or so of snow, but that is to be expected in Tahoe
during Winter.
The master bedroom and bath are good and fairly large. The bedrooms
downstairs are small but comfortable, with a nice double bunk bed setup
for the kids. The downstairs occupants reported it was always cold down
there, although it stayed warm upstairs. The TVs are old style CRTs, but
they work fine, if being a bit dated. The decks are nice and we had fun
playing in the snow near the home.
While it is not our favorite of the Pullen rental homes, we would not mind
staying there again, so we can recommend it. Just watch your head on the
kitchen upper cabinets over the island if you are more than six feet tall!
